Free Patient Safety Training Resources

Physicians and employees in health care organizations should receive education about the principles and techniques of patient safety improvement. To assist you in designing educational sessions, we've developed presentations that you can download for free:

1. PowerPoint presentation entitled "The Basics of Patient Safety." It covers the topics you’ll want everyone to know about: why patient safety is important, how mistakes can be prevented, the role of root cause analyses and proactive risk assessments, the contribution people can make to improve the safety and well-being of patients, and much more.
